PLEASE NOTE ALL V1 ATTx systems where discontinued August 2007 we have limited spare parts available
Why has one of my transmitters has stopped working?
The most common cause of this is that the batteries have not been installed correctly. Ensure that you are using the correct batteries (CR1025) and that they are correctly installed.
Please consult the maintenance page for the correct installation instructions.
Additionally you could test the batteries with a multi meter, they should each read 3 volts or above.
I've installed the batteries but the transmitter still isn't working.
The battery contacts on the inside of the removable transmitter cover may not be making proper contact with the batteries. Gently bend the contacts upwards to rectify this. Since the initial version this issue has been rectified by improving the contacts. If the transmitter still doesn't work please contact ATT.
My receiver stopped working, why?
The most common cause is flat batteries. Please ensure that this is not the case before contacting ATT.
You could test the batteries with a multi meter, they should each read 1.4 volts or above. (LED`s illuminating does not mean the batteries are ok).
The vibrate function works and the LEDs light up but no sound emanates from the receiver.
The volume button may be broken. The batteries might be flat or low.
I've bought an additional transmitter but it does not work with my system.
The V1 ATTx system was initially designed to use a frequency of 433Mhz. Subsequently, the system was changed to work on a frequency of 868 Mhz. 433Mhz transmitters can only be used with it's corresponding receiver and vice versa. Confirm what system type you have before acquiring additional transmitters.
How can I tell the difference between a 433Mhz and 868Mhz System?
Remove the battery cover and the batteries from your transmitter to expose the PCB (Printed Circuit Board). If the PCB is marked with a black marker pen, it is a 433Mhz system.
I've bought a second-hand system but it didn't come with instructions. How do I program my system?
Please consult the set-up page for programming instructions. Alternately, the instructions can be downloaded from our downloads page.
