FAQs
Why do my V1 dongles not seem to work with my new batteries?
Firstly check how "new" your batteries are, they should have a date on the packet at LEAST 2 years ahead of the date you bought them, it is noit good practice to but and store them as they could be approaching the end of their sales life when you come to use them and you might only get a couple of blips before they expire!
There is a brand to avoid using with the V1 system as well, they are Renata, here is an image to help you recognise them
My Dongle scrolls through all the channels on my receiver when using a Fox (C) Micron (R) alarm..
This is caused by plugging the dongle into the wrong socket on the alarm when setting up, if you leave it this way you can also get a constant take when you only get a single bleep from the alarm. Please ensure you plug it into the RIGHT hand soccket when facing the alarm and NOT the left hand one, as that is the LED/power out socket!
