[16 Feb 2009]: ATT advise against using snag ears with ATTs
ATTs users utilising metallic snag ears have been experiencing problems with
receiver reception. ATT do not recommend the use of additional snag ears but if customers feel they need to
add them we strongly suggest using a non-metal variety.
Placing metal along side the ATTs upper body will cause transmission range degradation. This is not an ATTs-specific
issue, ALL bite alarms that utilize radio transmitters will be affected by the close proximity of metal objects to an
alarms antenna.
